Local tech companies pitching him ideas
Facebook co-founder, Eduardo Luiz Saverin, is in the PH today, sitting down and taking pitches from several local tech companies.
Specifically, Saverin was spotted speaking to Ex-Googler, CEO of Kalibrr and Entrepreneur Paul V. Rivera courtesy of local incubator Kickstart Ventures.
Rivera’s company, Kalibrr, is a cloud-based job finder that bucks the trend of more established players by allowing customers and companies free use of its database, and a better, more efficient job-matching. The company says that there are now 6000 companies using their platform to locate and hire candidates.
Kickstart Ventures, on the other hand, is a local incubator that puts big company resources – capital, facilities, expertise and business connections – behind startups, so investees can launch faster, and achieve scale and profitability sooner. Kickstart is a subsidiary of Globe Telecom, backed by SingTel and Ayala Corporation.
