FB’s Gaming Hub Fb.gg Launches For Android In PH First

It’s a place to connect with gamers quickly and easily

Facebook is trying to nab a piece of the lucrative gaming pie with their new gaming hub, Fb.gg, and today the Android app specifically for their new gaming and streaming destination has gone live on Android, at least for the Philippines.

The Fb.gg app, which is undergoing beta testing in the Philippines first, collates and compiles all of the relevant gaming streams that you’re interested in into one easy to navigate timeline. You can add and remove streamers and games you like quickly and easily, and play simple mobile games with your friends instantly.

Facebook has been shoring up its gaming efforts lately, looking to go up against Amazon’s Twitch and Google’s YouTube. The company has already begun monetizing gaming content with its gaming creator pilot program and has allowed viewers to tip creators Facebook Stars, with the company taking a small cut of the sales.
