Fortnite Teases BTS Collab

Fortnite Teases BTS Collab

The competition between which is the better battle royale game has gone on to a Kpop-themed route. If PUBG has a special Blackpink collab in the works—complete with player IDs for the Kpop girl group’s 4 members, Fortnite has their own answer to that.

While details about PUBG’s collab with Blackpink is pretty vague for now, Fortnite’s collab with BTS appears to be big, as it includes special content like a Fortnite-exclusive music video of their latest single Dynamite, along with two new Emotes that players can use in-game.

The premiere of BTS’ music choreography version of Dynamite will happen within Fortnite on September 26, 8AM (PH time), while the two special Emotes will be available for purchase on September 24.

To kick off the festivities, Players can complete mini-challenges and enjoy minigames on the recreated world from the original Dynamite music video, which is designed by select Fortnite community members, starting today at 11pm.

Fortnite is no stranger when it comes to celebrity collabs. Prior to BTS, the battle royale game has teamed up with Travis Scott and Marshmello, and even held a concert featuring Anderson .Paak. Fortnite Head of Global Partnerships Nate Nanzer said in an interview with The Verge that they want to transform Fortnite into a virtual venue for artists.
