G.I. Joe Retaliation Joe Colton 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure from Hot Toys

YO JOE!!!!
YO JOE!!!!

We were able to finally get our pre-order of the newest G.I. Joe Retaliation 1/6th scale collectible figure, the original Joe himself, General Joe (Joseph) Colton. And yes the figure bares a striking resemblance and likeness with Hollywood superstar Bruce Willis who played Colton in the movie.

Joe Colton is the third figure in the G.I. Joe Retaliation series from Hot Toys (holds license for collectible figures for a lot of characters in movies). We featured the first two already — Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Stunning Resemblance, Insane Level of Detail

Feels like I have a mini-me of Bruce Willis, lol.

Hot Toys was definitely able to nail look of Bruce Willis in this figure! They even got his signature smirk which we’ve seen countless times on the big screen in movies like Die Hard and the Expendables. When it comes to the “likeness” category they really hit the ball out of the park.

Just like with other Hot Toys figures, they spent an enormous amount of energy in the clothes and accessories of General Joe Colton. First up we have his costume in the movie. We have the military green uniform, a pair of black boots, and a belt with holsters and magazine pouches. They went as far as putting mini carabiners hooked on to the back of the belt.

They also put int a lot of weapons in the box. We have three pistols including the one that he handed over to Roadblock (the white one that looks like some sort of Desert Eagle). There’s also one machine gun with a silencer, scope, and strap. Lastly we have one kick ass looking shotgun.

To make him “camera-friendly”, the figure has 30 articulation points and several interchangeable palms which are compatible with the different weapons. By the way, when the weapons are not in use you can put them in their respective holsters. There are three holsters (two on the sides and one on the leg) for the pistols.

Here are a few more photos of General Joe Colton in different poses with his toys:

We’re definitely happy with this one! Great buy for collectors (definitely not for non-collectors since this is expensive).

There are still a few toy stores offering this figure locally. There’s no real set SRP since this was an exclusive offer in a recently concluded toy conference but we did see a few sellers letting it go for Php12,000-Php14,000.

We’ve already placed a pre-order on the next collectible figure that’s set to come out in December or January, Roadblock. Yep, this next figure also has the same level of likeness here. He’s like a mini-me of the Rock, lol.
