After making it available on iOS and Android via Google Assistant and Google Photos, Google is working on integrating Google Lens onto the camera app of select phones.
Aside from Google Pixel phones, the integrated Google Lens app will arrive in select LG, Motorola, Xiaomi, Sony, Nokia, Transsion, TCL, OnePlus, BQ, and ASUS phones in the future. Aside from the integration, Google Lens will come with new features like “Smart Text Selection”—a feature that lets you copy text from images:
And “Style Match”—a feature that lets you get info (and reviews) of a home decor or a fashion item:
On top of these new features, expect Google Lens to work in real-time when you “point the camera around the world”. The rollout of these new features will roll out in the coming weeks.
