Google Rolls Out Android 6.0 To Nexus Devices

Android Marshmallow

Get to downloading!

Google has made good on its promise last week and is already rolling out Android Marshmallow to a majority of their Nexus devices. Many of Nexus phones, which include the Nexus 6, 5, 9, 7 (2013) and Player will be getting Android Marshmallow starting today. If you haven’t gotten a notification yet, sit tight – Google usually sends it out in waves, so keep checking your phone.

Or you know, you can download the update yourself and manually use the provided Android Marshmallow images, which you can download here. Going that route means you’ll have to know your way around your Nexus, and potentially will be wiping information from your phone.

Unfortunately, there has been no mention of Android One as of yet.
