Grab Suspends GrabCar services in areas under MECQ

In compliance with the government’s announcement placing the entire Metro Manila, Laguna, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal under MECQ starting today, Grab will be temporarily suspending its GrabCar services. While Grab Car is suspended Grab will continue to implement its GrabProtect program, which includes free tests for its driver and delivery partners.

For health workers, Grab will be deploying a dedicated shuttle fleet for their medical frontliners. For driver-partners with existing loans, Grab is working with its institutional partners to extend payment holidays on their respective loans. Grab will also create donation streams for our communities who are impacted by the suspension of public transportation.

Grabfood will offer free delivery during this period, while GrabFood and GrabMart will remain operational from 6 AM – 12 MN depending on merchant-partner availability. GrabExpress, on the other hand, will remain operational 24/7 and GrabPay will continue to provide safe and convenient cashless payments.
