iflix Updates their Library with… Anime!
iflix just added 21 new anime TV series on their library of content. The biggest title on their roster is one of the most popular series in the world, Attack on Titan (Shingek No Kyojin). They have the full first season (all 26 episodes) with English subtitles ready for streaming for all of their subscribers. So if you’re a fan of Eren, Mikasa, or Levi, you might want to start your free trial on iflix ASAP.
Just in case you’re not familiar with Attack on Titan, here’s the synopsis:
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by enormous creatures called Titans. A small percentage of humanity survived by building a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the largest of Titans. We fast forward to the present and the city has not seen a Titan in over a hundred years, until one day, a Colossal Titan appears out of thin air and destroys part of the city wall. A young Eren Jaeger, and his foster sister, Mikasa Ackerman, witness the destruction of their town and the death of their mother at the hands of the Titans. Overcome by pain, Eren vows to seek revenge on the Titans.
If you haven’t watched it yet, make sure you do because it rocks BIG TIME.
To be honest, we’re not familiar with any of the other 20 titles in the list. The one that we’re watching right now (and enjoying) is Psycho-Pass. Here’s the synopsis just in case you guys are interested:
Psycho-Pass takes place in the future where it is possible to instantaneously measure a person’s mental state, personality, and the probability that a person will commit crimes. This is thanks to a device installed on each citizen’s body called the Psycho-Pass. The series follows members of Unit One of the Public Safety Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Division as they investigate different crimes.
Moving forward we’re hoping that they include more A-list titles like Naruto, Bleach, or Dragonball Z. Would love to binge on watching Goku kick the heck out of Freeza, Vegeta, and P-Cell again, hehe. 😛
