Perfect timing for Lazada’s 8th Anniversary

While it is Lazada’s 8th anniversary today, the eCommerce giant celebrates the occasion differently. Instead of holding a grand sale like in previous years, Lazada was able to raise over Php 8 million through its LazForGood initiative. “Today is Lazada’s 8th birthday and we’re marking this milestone in a meaningful way,” Lazada said in a Facebook post.

Around Php 3.8 million has been donated to Caritas Manila, which is committed to providing manna food bags and LIGTAS COVID-19 kits to 6,000 poor communities and families in Metro Manila affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Around Php 3.3 million was donated to Kaya Natin Movement, which is committed to providing PPE kits and food and care packages to health workers who are working hard in containing the pandemic.
