Microsoft Launching Windows 10 on July 29


You can get the new OS come July 29

Microsoft has been teasing the release date of their newest OS for a few months now, with the firm coyly saying it’ll come out in summer, but now we finally have a release date for it. Microsoft has confirmed on its blog that Windows 10 will be arriving on July 29, which is around a 2 month wait.

Microsoft’s new OS comes with hundreds of new improvements which includes a redesigned interface, better integration with Cortana on both PCs and phones, new Edge web browser and a lot more. If you’re a legit Windows 7 or 8.1 user you’ll be able to ugrade to the new OS for free.


You can now reserve your copy of Windows 10 by simply following the Windows 10 upgrade pop up that’ll show up in your task bar from time to time. Again, Windows 10 is free for existing Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 users.

  1. Sir John, I saw this also in my pc last night but afraid to upgrade because I might be paying something sooner or later. Is this totally free for existing windows 7 users? Or after the upgrade I am forced to pay or else I wont be able to use my pc?

  2. From what i have read, for those who are using pirated windows, windows10 will be free for a certain time only, then you gave to buy to continue using it. Can’t remember if its after a year.
