We’ve seen a drastic decline of Pokemon GO Trainers out and about and, perhaps, the hype train has reached its last stop weeks ago. The Halloween Event that lasted from October 25 to October 29 provided a bit of a revenue boost (and by a bit, we mean $23.3 Million), but now that the numbers have greatly tapered off again, Niantic Labs is now working on ways to keep Trainers coming back for more and their newest update is definitely taking a step in the right direction by introducing daily bonuses.
We want to provide you a detailed look at a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO – Daily bonuses! Trainers will soon be able to receive a bonus for certain daily activities, including catching a Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop once a day. You’ll earn a larger bonus if you do this seven days in a row!
Here are some of the bonuses Trainers will get for logging on every day.
|Catching a Pokemon Everyday||500 XP||600 Stardust|
|Catching a Pokemon Everyday for 7 Days||2000 XP||2000 Stardust|
|Visiting a PokeStop and Spinning the Photo Disc||500 XP||Extra Items|
|Visiting a PokeStop and Spinning the Photo Disc for 7 Days||2000 XP||Even More Items|
It certainly makes things a little more interesting, but are these enough of a reward to make trainers, new and old, keep coming back to the app? The next logical step for Niantic Labs and the Pokemon Company, of course, is to release a new generation of Pokemon for trainers to catch, but while they’re working on that we’re guessing we’ll see a few more tiny perks and special events on certain holidays to keep the interest going.
