We’re still pretty floored at how much Pokemon Go is killing it in the Google Play store. We’ve previously reported that the game that’s not even a month old is about to overtake Twitter, a decade old app, in the sheer amount of daily active users. Well, apparently that’s not the only record the augmented reality app is breaking – according to Survey Monkey, the game is now more popular than the 2013 hit Candy Crush Saga in the US, possessing as much as 20 active daily users in the US alone.

That’s not all, at its current growth rate, the game is just about ready to pass Snapchat in overall daily active users, and is on track to surpass Google Maps as the largest user of Alphabet’s (Google’s parent company) mapping data.

With the European and Asian release of Pokemon Go only a few days away, it’s only a matter of time until the augmented reality game becomes the best selling game of all time. We’re sure that Pokemon Go will one of the best, if not THE best Android app of all time in the PH once it launches here. Speaking of, Niantic and Nintendo, are you listening? Good.

LAUNCH IT IN THE PH ALREADY
