Back to the Wild West!
When you think of Rockstar Games, the first title that comes to mind is probably one of the installments of the Grand Theft Auto series. While the GTA franchise definitely put them on the map and what’s probably made them a ton of cash, you can’t forget their take on the Wild West — Red Dead Redemption.
The original game was one of my favorite games on the Playstation 3 and when news hit that they would be releasing a sequel, the hype train immediately pulled up into the station. It’s been almost 8 years since the release of the first game and, thankfully, Rockstar Games has already announced when the sequel to their open-world Western will drop — October 26, 2018.
In a blog post on their site, Rockstar Games said:
We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.
If you’re a fan of open-world games and missed out on the first entry into the Red Dead Redemption franchise, we definitely recommend picking this game up. It will be available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
