Made for phones with small storage space

To accommodate lower-end phones with limited storage space and older Android versions, Spotify officially made the Lite version of its app available to the Philippines. The app is a simplified version of the regular Spotify app that will still let you search and play your favorite songs and artists, save them, share with others, discover new music, and enjoy playlists made just for you.

“Spotify Lite was built from the ground up based on user feedback from around the world, allowing millions more to enjoy the world’s best music experience — especially in areas with limited bandwidth and phone storage,” Spotify Senior Product Manager Kalle Persson said.

Spotify Lite supports phones with Android versions as old as Android 4.3, and is only 10MB in size—making it friendly with most Android Go phones in the market today. You can download the app here.
