You can play the classic games on your PC
It’s been 15 years since Final Fantasy X was released on the PS2 and if you’ve been feeling especially nostalgic for Tidus, Auron, Yuna and the rest of the gang, you’ll be happy to know that Square Enix just dropped the remastered edition of the game and its sequel, X-2, on Steam. Aside from boasting tweaked graphics and a remastered sound track, the Steam version of the games also allow you to play the game in 2x or 4x speed, hide the HUD to grab wallpaper-worthy screenshots, reduce the frequency of random encounters (all the way down to zero), get full overdrive in every turn and even get max monies, max items and unlock all skills.
Many of us practically grew up on the exploits of Tidus, Bliztball and hating Sin with a fire of a thousand suns, so if you want to replay the game to rekindle memories of gaming on the PS2 you can download it now via Steam here. It’s currently at just Php 607 since there’s a special promo on the game right now, so what are you waiting for?
