Star Wars Sphero BB-8 App Enabled Droid to Retail for Php12,500 in the Philippines

It’s Going to be Available Locally but Quite Pricey

Ok we have good news and bad news for all of you Star Wars fans. The Star Wars Sphero BB-8 app-enabled droid will be available in the Philippines. Yep, it’s the same toy that you can view in the video that went viral (we embedded it at the top of this post for your reference). Pre-orders are set until September 6 during the Force Awakens event in SM Mall of Asia. No word yet on when the actual units will arrive but eventually those who pre-order can get it from Toy Kingdom.

Now that bad news. In the US this will just sell for $160 or roughly Php7,000. Here in the Philippines the official price tag is at a whopping Php12,500.
