Street Fighter New Challenger Collectibles: Ryu and Ken

HADOOOKEEEEEN!
HADOOOKEEEEEN!

Hadoken! Shoryuken!

A few months ago teasers of new collectibles featuring Street Fighter’s Ryu in a diorama set-up in a Hadoken pose (with the fireball lighting up) popped up online. We immediately made a reservation/pre-order for one and a few weeks ago we finally got it! Shortly after we found out that there was also a collectible for Ken so we got that one as well. Today we have both collectibles and we’re now eagerly waiting for the next one which features Chun-Li.

These diorama pieces all feature a base with a carton background, a movable stage prop, a collectible card featuring the character, and the character itself in a trademark attack maneuver. The energy elements of the attack light up thanks to the LED light inside and the triple A battery in the base of the diorama. Pressing down on the button for the LED light also activates a speaker in the base which shouts out the attack phrase of the move.

Here are a few photos of the Ryu and Ken collectibles that we got our hands on:

Awesomeness.

Each one usually sells for Php4,500 in various toy stores in Greenhills. Unfortunately there are very little stocks left of the Ryu so you’ll probably need to hunt a bit in Shoppesville for one.

The Chun-Li collectible is also set to drop so we’re definitely going to grab that one as well when it’s available! Wooohooo!
