So how many of you watched the live action movie of Tekken? (Don’t lie!) These game franchise based movies have that effect. Remember Street Fighter, Super Mario in the 90s, Dead or Alive?

But this movie is different. It’s not another live action movie, but a Full CG Animation.

From the same studio that brought us Resident Evil: Degeneration, the genius who did the screenplay for Ghost in a Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop, comes the new Tekken movie entitled Tekken: Blood Vengeance. It is a full length 3D animated movie set in between Tekken 5 and 6.

According to an article by Eurogamer, Tekken: Blood Vengeance has been in production since January of 2010. And much to the joy of fans, Namco was able to get some of the actors in-game to play their roles in the movie. The movie will be voiced both in English and Japanese languages.
