You can relive the madness on PC, XBOX One and on the PS4

We’re still feeling the after-effects of the adrenaline-fueled joyride of a movie that is Mad Max: Fury Road, and frankly, we want more. We want more explosions, car chases and more importantly, awesome hard-rock coming from a blind guy weilding a double axe’d flaming guitar. While we’re not sure if there will be another Mad Max movie coming out soon (come on Hollywood, don’t let us down) you can at least look forward to carving out your own path in the wasteland via Mad Max: Savage Road that’s coming out this fall (September 1st) for the PC, XBOX One and PS4.

Mad Max: Savage Road is an open world style game (think GTA V) set in the Mad Max universe, and while you’ll see a few recurring characters from Mad Max: Fury Road, the game’s story centers around Max as he tries to survive the wasteland populated by an ever increasing number of psychopaths trying to kill him. There’s a lot of vehicular combat and mayhem involved, but there looks to be a fair amount of up close, knuckle dusting as well which isn’t surprising, since the publisher, Warner Brothers, also published the Batman series of games as well as Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor.
