Short video platform TikTok held its first Southeast Asia Creators and Content Marketing Conference at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore last July 10. Entitled [REC]reate, the conference brought together over 300 creators and marketers throughout Southeast Asia.
The conference tackled several topics focusing on how to make the most out of TikTok and its monetization potential for creators and brands in the Southeast Asia region. The conference also hosted a discussion forum on how short-form video content can be effective in the region’s mobile-centric demographic.
“Through [REC]reate, we aim to arm both creators and markets with the insights and the know-how needed to connect with these valuable audiences,” TikTok Ads Global Marketing Senior Director Lionel Sim said. “We look forward to continue being an innovative and exciting vehicle for brands to reach and connect with a wide and varied audience across Southeast Asia.
