Game streaming titan Twitch is really on the move to diversify its brand. Last week, the Amazon-owned service announced its plans to launch an online game marketplace, similar to Steam. Today, they’ve announced yet another feature to complement their streaming service, the Pulse social network.

“Introducing Pulse. A place where streamers can post and engage with all of their followers and the greater Twitch community right from the Twitch front page.”
Basically, Pulse is like Facebook, except tailored for streamers and their followers. Twitch hopes that Pulse will bridge the distance between the two groups and strengthen their engagement with each other.
