Only Windows 10 users will be able to enjoy offline content
Tired of using up your data plan when binge watching your favorite shows in Netflix? Well, good news for you – the company has now announced that you’ll now be able to download shows and movies directly to your Windows 10-powered device for later consumption starting today.
You won’t be able to download all things in the Netflix library though, as the company will have to sort out its licensing agreements with content providers before all of the content on the site will be available for download.
You’ll have to use the Windows 10 app of Netflix to be able to download content, and only titles with the download icon will be available for download. Unsurprisingly enough, Netflix’s own original content are available to download right off of the bat, so you can cringe at the performance of Finn Jones as the Iron Fist even if you don’t have data available.
