In case you want to monitor trending hashtags
On top of the usual following of friends and celebrities, Instagram has announced that you can follow hashtags as well. This new feature is the social media platform’s way of letting its users discover new ways in exploring images, videos, and people.
All users have to do is to search for a topic they are interested in, and click on the hashtag associated with it. From there, Instagram will present you with related hashtags. Once you find a hashtag that interests you, one just need to click on the follow button–just like how you follow people on Instagram.
All of the posts related to the hashtags you will be following will appear in your feed. Just like in following people, you can unfollow hashtags anytime.
