Pure Leather Goods that Don’t Break the Bank
Wnen you feel that it’s already time to graduate from your neoprene/canvass laptop bag or Jansport backpack, you might want to take a look into bags made from leather. They’re timeless, elegant, and stylish which is perfect for young and mature professionals and executives alike. The problem with leather products is that most of the brands out there are ridiculously priced. As in they sell for well over Php10,000 and materials they use aren’t the best kind of leather available. If you want to make the jump without totally breaking the bank, one brand to consider is dbramante1928.
Designed in Denmark and handcrafted using the finest Indian pure leather, dbramante1928 delivers high quality products at reasonable prices. The awesome news is that they’re now available in the Philippines and they brought with them a rather wide range of offerings that can probably cater to your needs.
The bag that we’ve been using lately is the dbramante1928 Silkeborg which can hold up to 15-inch laptops. It’s more of a briefcase as it doesn’t have a strap so that you can use it a shoulder bag or as a messenger type. The beauty in this is the attention to detail and the quality of the leather used by the craftsmen.
The edges of the bag are double-stitched which ensure durability and resistance to wear and tear. The main compartment is closed by a zipper which can be locked using a button. This was a really nice addition that we haven’t seen in a lot of bags. The two outer pouches can also be closed since there are magnetic buttons embedded inside. Here are a few photos for your appreciation:
The main compartment has felt lining which gives the bag a luxurious and premium feel. There’s a divider inside as well so that you can slide in your laptop and documents inside it together.
When it comes to storage capabilities, we only made it a point to put in the ff: our laptop, a notebook, pens, phone, wallet, and power bank. Putting more stuff would make it look quite bulky and since it doesn’t have a strap we had to always carry it with just one hand. It doesn’t really make any sense to overstuff it.
While most premium leather brand goods sell for well over Php10,000, the dbramante1928 Silkeborg goes for Php6,490 for the 15-inch model and Php5,850 for the 13-inch model. Definitely not bad prices given the quality of the product. In fact, we highly recommend that you guys check them out. Most of their products are available at various Power Mac Center shops.
If the brief case isn’t your thing, they also have leather products such as messenger bags, iPhone cases, and iPad cases.
You can check out the pricing and even buy already online via Lazada. If ever you guys get one, please do let us know what you guys think! 🙂
