Geox, the Italian company known worldwide for products that uniquely combine breathability and style, recently announces that it will be renewing its contract with the Red Bull Racing team for another two years.
Under this contract, the company will be creating and supplying the drivers, and the entire team, with high-tech breathable footwear with the patented Geox Net System sole. Geox will make its contribution as Team Partner through to the end of 2013: under the new agreement the Geox brand logo, already featured on the official team uniforms, will be seen on the new team car starting with the RB8 2012.
As a further confirmation of the special relationship between the two companies – both leaders in their own field – the current World Champion Sebastian Vettel will be the testimonial in the TV campaign for the new Geox Amphibiox collection, totally waterproof and breathable.

Geox aim is to bring its cutting-edge technological know-how and “Made in Italy” style in Formula One, where overheating is a crucial problem not only for the engines and vehicle chassis, but also for the drivers themselves. The breathable, waterproof Geox footwear enables the Red Bull Racing team and drivers to vent their sweat and prevents water from entering their shoes: a big advantage in terms of performance.
Geox is furthermore pleased to announce that the new Geox-Red Bull Racing collection for men and kids will be available at the best footwear retailers and Geox Shops worldwide, starting in March 2012.
Spinoff of the super-technological shoes supplied to the official team, this line will introduce a faithful reproduction of the footwear worn by drivers on the track: the natural consequence of the successful launch, at Harrods in London this year, of a limited series of 50 pieces of Driver Boots, an exact replica of the FIA approved Geox footwear created for the Red Bull Racing team drivers.
