Meet the Tannery

We recently got an invitation to a private sale (later this month) of leather bags and products made by Filipino artisans. We were initially skeptical but after going through their product catalogue we ended up getting excited for the sale! Yes, we are bag junkies, lol. Anyway, we reached out to the company to get to know them better and it turns out they’ve been doing this for over a century already. The Hermoso family began their leather venture all the way back in 1901 and today they’re now called “The Tannery”.

What’s so special about this company and their bags? They’re locally made, they look incredibly good (modern-classic leather designs), and they’re quite sturdy. Because of the high quality, the bags are actually exported and rebranded in other countries! Hayup.

We were able to get one of their premium leather bags for review here on Unbox. Expect a feature in the coming days as well as a report on how their private sale went.
