It’s Pretty Affordable Too!
DJI will always be known, first and foremost, for their drones but they have been releasing some pretty awesome tools for cinematography as well. We’ve tried out the DJI Osmo for awhile and still have the Osmo Mobile tucked away at Unbox HQ. At CES 2018, the company unveiled the second iteration of their 3-axis gimbal for smartphones and it has just landed in the country! If you’re into capturing moments and your travels through video on your smartphone, we definitely recommend picking this gadget up.
The new DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is made of high-strength modified nylon to make it easy to carry for long periods of time but strong enough to handle the most adventurous of trips. It has a battery life of 15 hours, so it should have more than enough juice plus you can draw power from it to charge your smartphone if it’s running low. The team over at DJI has included more features into the Osmo Mobile 2 to help newbies get more cinematic footage by giving you Active Tracking of your subject, a timelapse function with up to 5 camera positions, and a hyperlapse function as well to increase the creativity in the memories you capture with your phone.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 retails for Php 7,900 and is distributed by the folks over at MSI-ECS.
