Hi-tech suntukan!
You know those times when you were in grade school when two kids needed to settle a score in a certain place via fisticuffs? Yeah, we’ve found the modern version of that. A Facebook page that we’re just linking here and not naming (since it’s NSFW) has organized an event dubbed “Suntukan sa Ace Hardware” on Facebook that thousands of people are planning to attend.
The event, created earlier yesterday (March 29) pegged the super fight at April 15, at 3:00 in the afternoon at the Ace Hardware store, in, of all places, SM City, Lucena. As of writing, there are now 4.3K people who have pledged to attend the event, with 4.3K more interested in it.
What’s funny is the event doesn’t even say who the fight is between. Even funnier still are the comments on the event itself. In any case, we’re heading over there on April 15, cameras in tow just to see if there really is something to the event.
