More powerful and better than ever
Ford updates its 4th-generation Everest Midsize SUV for 2019 with added features and new engines. The 4×4 variant gets a new 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine that comes with 213PS and 500nm of torque while the 4×2 variant gets a 2.0L Turbo engine that comes with 180PS and 420nm of torque. Both variants are mated to a new 10-speed automatic transmission.
The new engines have lower maintenance service costs, with a once a year scheduled service compared to a twice a year interval for the previous generation.
Both models can easily conquer the country’s tough terrain with their 225mm ground clearance and class-leading 800mm water wading depth.
For the exterior, the 2019 Everest gets a redesigned grille, redesigned front bumper, HID headlights, and new 20-inch split-spoke alloy wheels. The interior is much quieter on the 2019 Everest with its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature and advanced sound insulation. Both variants also get a Panoramic Moonroof.
The 2019 Everest gets new features such as Active Parking Assist, Keyless entry with push-button start, power-folding 3rd row seats, hands-free power liftgate and Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian and vehicle detection. The 4×4 model also has a Terrain Management system for optimal control in various terrain conditions.
The 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4×4 AT is priced at Php 2,299,000 while the 2.0L Titanium 4×2 AT is priced at Php 1,995,000. Both variants are available at your nearest Ford Dealership starting August 10. Available colors include Diffused Silver, Absolute Black, Aluminum Metallic, Arctic White, Meteor Gray, and Sunset Red.
