Ford has officially released their newest pickup, the Ranger FX4, and does it look freaking’ mean. The Ranger FX4 is decked out with a new, exclusive grille with a mesh pattern, blacked out fog light bezels, along with 18-inch alloy painted wheels and a black sports bar. The hood has been tweaked to look aggressive and muscular, and it shows in the photo. This is one truck you don’t want to meet in a dark alley.
That look continues inside the cabin, which have darker finishes for a premium, bold look. The FX4 logo is very prominent inside the leather seats, and compared to the other trucks in Ford’s lineup, the Ranger FX4 is more refined for a more premium feel.
The Ranger FX4 is powered by a 2.2-liter Duratorq diesel engine, generating around 160 horses and 385 Nm of torque. The Ranger FX4 is being offered as a 4×2 version for now, available in both manual and automatic models. Aside from the aggressive jet black color, Ford is also offering the Ranger FX4 in Cool White, Aluminum Metallic and Meteor Grey.
