Honda announced the 2012 Honda Civic (European model) during the Frankfurt Motorshow. This particular model has been under development for over 4 years already so a lot of people have high expectations for this one. It’s a five-door hatchback that features unique styling, integrated advanced technologies, environment friendly, and fuel efficiency.

Honda focused on several areas to deliver a much better experience with the Civic. First they upgraded the suspension set-up to improve the over-all drive. Interior materials also are made from much better quality and based on the presser and even the photos it looks like we get more space inside. The exterior styling has an all new design which you can see from the photos. The engines were also improved for better performance (fuel efficiency) and reduced emissions.

There will be three engine options for the Civic: 1.4L, 1.8L, and 2.2L (Diesel). All models have a 6-speed manual gearbox, ECO assist, advanced fueling control technology, Hill Start Assist, and Idle Stop. The 1.8L model has a 5-speed automatic transmission variant.
