Ever since I was a kid, I had a fascination with motorcycles. My dad had one, and my older brother had one that I would ride every chance I got but I never owned one myself. Honda’s recent reveal of their new big bike lineup might be the tipping point that makes me finally pony up the cash for a sweet ride to navigate through the Metro.
While my favorite of the bunch is definitely their new roadster, the Honda Rebel, the Big Bikes unveiled yesterday had something to suit any riders taste and needs or even something in between. You have the Africa Twin to take out on an adventure with it’s 1000cc engine, the CBR 500R for those who dig a sports bike, or the 745cc in-betweener that is the X-ADV; a sports looking number that you can take on the trail.
Here’s a quick look at the prices for some of the Big Bikes Honda launched yesterday.
- Honda CRF 1000L Africa Twin – Php 854,000
- Honda CB500X – Php 379,000
- Honda CBR500R – Php 379,000
- Honda CB650F – Php 459,000
- Honda X-ADV – Php 799,000
- Honda Rebel – Php 369,000
Coinciding with the launch was the announcement of the opening of Honda’s Flagship showrooms to showcase these mechanical masterpieces. The showroom on EDSA will feature all the newly released big bikes for your to ogle and drool over with showrooms in Cebu and Davao soon to follow.
