House Bill 6195 Public Servants’ Commuting via Public Transport Act is Pure Awesomeness

Imagine the LTFRB officials here.

Well this is epic

It’s not everyday that we celebrate new bills being filed in Congress but this one really does deserve attention and a “push”. AANGAT TAYO Party-list Representative Neil Abayon filed HB 6195 or the “Public Servants’ Commuting via Public Transport Act” yesterday and it’s exactly how it sounds. Yes friends, this is juicy revenge against government officials who don’t suffer the everyday commute because of their taxpayer’s funded government vehicles and drivers.

If this bill gets passed (which we hope it does), all elected and appointed government officials with rank of division chief to department secretary will be mandated to ride public transport during weekday rush hours once a month.

This couldn’t have come at a better time when the LTFRB suspended Uber for a month which is causing massive inconvenience to the commuting public. We’re doubtful this will get passed because the guys who will make it into law are the ones who will most likely get affected, hehe. Libre naman mangarap. Malay mo si Presidente mag mandate na ipasa ‘to. That would so rock.
