Chinese scooters have began filling up Manila’s road. They may not be finely crafted as compare to Japanese and Italian scooters—but believed me—they are within tight budgets and have ridiculously low-fuel consumption. So when Blaze Motortech Corp—makers of China-made Blaze motorcycle—invited me to visit their facility plant in Meycauayan Bulacan, I quickly answer with positive enthusiasm. Not because—that I am one of those crazy motoring hacks—who wanted to dive for speed on two wheels. But it’s more like giving motorists a better glimpse on the latest product lines of Blaze motorcycle.

Here are the top five (5) BLAZE scooters.

1.)    Blaze ALTO. At first look, the Blaze Alto looks like the Yamaha Fino. The round headlight and circular mirror displays a classic 60’s vintage appeal. The new Blaze Alto is equipped with a potent 125cc CVT engine. This scooter gross weight is 100-kg and priced at Php. 52,500.00

2.)    Blaze Pyre. If you’re on a sporty mode for scooter, the Blaze Pyre is definitely a good choice for you! It has a powerful engine that is excellent for tight city traffic. The design of the Pyre fits for the appeal of youth crowd. The Blaze Pyre is powered by a 125cc CVT engine and also pegged at Php. 52,500.00. It also offers huge under seat compartment area—that is useful for storage space—enough to fit an open face helmet.

3.)    Blaze MAPLE. Obviously—without further introduction—this scooter looks like an Italian luxury icon. Good features include: cushy seat, huge under seat storage, classic headlight, turn signal repeaters (front and rear), and circular mirror. Beneath the classic-styled plastic exterior lies a 125cc CVT engine. With a feather-light throttle on the Blaze Maple, riders would be surprise on how torquey the engine is. 4.)    Blaze GRACE. The Blaze Grace is one of Blaze’s large scooters. At one point, we asked Blaze why they’ve  named the scooter “Grace”. They answer back: it’s because of the riding Grace of the scooter. The Blaze Grace has a 100/80-14 and 120/80-14 nylon tubeless tires mounted on a 14-inch alloy wheels. Since Grace is a maxi-scooter, it provides smooth and comfortable ride for every rider—which comes from a 150cc forced air-cooled four-stroke single cylinder CVT engine. 5.)    Blaze STEALTH. Similar to Blaze Grace, the new Stealth is a sporty scooter line-up of Blaze motorcycle. The Stealth is equipped with rugged features like: dual-projector headlamps, front and rear disc brakes, 13-inch tires on 5-spoke cast alloy wheels, dual coil-over shocks, and large storage compartment. It comes with a 150cc single cylinder, 4-stroke air-cooled CVT engine. The Blaze Stealth is pegged at Php. 48,000.00
