If you’re a person who has deep pockets and love big engines, you’re going to love this bit of news: Auto Nation Group, the official distributor of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep in the Philippines have officially brought in the Challenger Hellcat to the country.
The Challenger Hellcat is a souped-up version of Dodge’s Challenger SRT8, and is billed as the most powerful muscle car ever. We believe them – the Hellcat is capable of producing an insane 717 horsepower via its Mopar HEMI engine which is further improved with a IHI supercharger. Forget about fuel economy – the Hellcat is designed to go as fast as mechanically possible, and is capable of 0 to 100 km/h under four seconds with a top speed of 320 km/h.
The car sits on 20-inch matte black forged aluminum wheels, and the two inner headlights pull double duty as cold air intakes to power the massive engine. The car’s styling will attract longing looks from pedestrians, since muscle cars like its rival the Ford GT Mustang isn’t common in the streets of the Philippines. Obviously this car won’t do well in our traffic-choked roads – we hope its future owners have a lot of out of town trips planned.
Speaking of owners, only 10 Dodge Challenger Hellcats will be arriving in the PH. Prices start at a cool 6,300,000.
