Braven 440 in the PH For Php3,650

Braven has steadily made a solid name for themselves in wireless audio. All of the products they’ve released so far boast of superb builds and even better sound quality. One of the biggest complaints though was that most of their products were priced too high. That changed when they launched the Braven 440, a compact wireless speaker that’s waterproof and built-in with a microphone for just Php3,650! It’s amazing value for money and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for speakers for their personal office room/space, bedroom, home office, or heck even their bathroom!

The Braven 440 doesn’t leave a big foot print on your desk or take up so much space in your bag. It’s actually just the size of your usual power bank (slightly thicker). Because of the lightweight form factor though the Braven 440 tends to move around the table when you’re playing tracks with big bass. That’s why we usually just put it on top of this cool plushie thing that we got from Google (it’s actually a cellphone holder, lol). For some reason the sound also comes out better! Hehe.

For connectivity options we have Bluetooth 2.1 and standard audio jack. The audio-in, as well as the other ports, can be included in the control panel which is covered by a rubbery silicone layer (you peel it off and put it back in). In the panel we also found the micro USB port (for charging), USB port (for you to charge other stuff using the battery of the speakers), battery LED indicator, and the Reset button.

When it came to sound quality, the Braven 440 did not disappoint. There was barely any distortion even at the highest volume levels which is quite impressive given how small the speaker is. The sound that came out was also quite balanced and the bass wasn’t overwhelmingly powerful.
