A new high-end smartphone from Cherry Mobile?
It looks like Cherry Mobile isn’t done for this year yet. Aside from the two Infinix Pure octa-core smartphones released recently, it seems that Cherry Mobile will be launching yet another octa-core device towards the end of the year. Dubbed the Selfie, this 1.7GHz octa-core smartphone will come packing with 13-megapixel cameras on both the front and back of the device, along with an LED flash.

Two seperate tipsters have confirmed to us that it is indeed a new smartphone from Cherry Mobile, and will probably hitting store shelves before the year is out. It’s also important to note that both cameras will be using Sony’s IMX135 camera modules with F2.0 apertures, and the front camera will have a wide angle lens for selfies and gorup shots. The smartphone will be priced at Php 9,999, which isn’t bad for the specs that you’re getting.
