Aside from their awesome looking watch, Huawei also announced a brand-new slate during MWC earlier today. The MediaPad X2 is the successor to the company’s X1 tablet and is chock full of various improvements over the previous tablet.

The X2 is only 7.28mm thin and comes with a 7-inch, 1920 x 1200 resolution display and posesses a screen-to-body ratio of 74.5%. Inside beats a 64-bit octa-core Kirin 930 processor running at 2.0GHz that’s paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There’s a higher tier model of the X2 that has 3GB of RAMÂ and 32GB of storage. The MediaPad X2 has LTE out of the gate (Cat. 6) and has dual-SIM capabilities.
The MediaPad X2 also has a beefy 5000mAh battery, along with a Smart PA audio chip and DTS surround sound tech. Android Lollipop 5.0 comes standard with the device. No price or expected release date is available as of the moment.
