Huawei’s Mate 10 Pro Will Be More Expensive Than Samsung’s Note 8, Apple’s iPhone X

It does have 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM though

As we move closer to the October 16 release date for Huawei’s next iteration of their flagship phablet, the Mate 10, many of you are probably wondering how much the phone will be when it’s announced. New rumors from China don’t paint a pretty picture, unfortunately, especially when you’re looking at purchasing the highest-end model of the phone, dubbed the Mate 10 Pro.

According to rumors, the highest configuration of the Mate 10 Pro is expected to retail at $1,138, or around Php 57.8K in China. That’s considerably more than the asking price of both Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 and Apple’s iPhone X, which both sit around $1000, or Php 50.8K.

It’s important to note that the Mate 10 Pro is equipped with the best hardware that Huawei offers, and is expected to ship with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, far higher than what’s offered by either the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X. And just like last year, it’s more than likely that Huawei won’t be offering the Mate 10 Pro in the Philippines, much like the Mate 9 Pro.

More encouraging are the potential pricing of the different versions of the regular Mate 10. There will be a 4GB/64GB model that’s expected to retail for $653 or Php 33.1K. The 6GB/128GB model is expected to retail for $744 or Php 37.7K, while the highest version of the phone which has 6GB/256GB is expected to retail at $850 or Php 43.1K.
