Meet Kata’s newest tablet!
Kata has sent over the full specifications of their small-ish tablet, the T mini ahead of the official unveil later today at SM Manila. The T mini is the company’s latest tablet, sporting a dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8312 processor, 6.95-inch WSVGA display, 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM.
Kata T mini specs
- 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8312 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 6.95-inch WSVGA display
- 8GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 32GB
- 3.2-megapixel rear camera
- 1.2-megapixel front camera
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
- Dual-SIM
- 3G
- 2600mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 190 x 102 x 9.4mm
The T mini runs Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box, which is nice. Kata has not placed a price on the T mini as of yet, but judging from the specs this may very well be a budget tablet offering. Kata is also throwing in 5GB of cloud storage via their KataCloud service which they are offering free for Kata users. Anyone have a guess about its price?
Kata unveiled the price for the T mini yesterday during their unboxing event, and will retail for Php 4,999. A bit too steep in our opinion.
