Meet Lenovo’s latest tablet!
Lenovo has just revealed a few new products during IFA today, including the Tab S8, the company’s first ever Intel Powered Android Tablet. The Tab S8 uses Intel’s newest SoC, the Z3745, which is a quad-core, 64-bit processor running at 1.33GHz with a burst speed of up to 1.86GHz.
Lenovo Tab S8
- 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor (up to 1.86GHz)
- 2GB of RAM
- 8-inch WUXGA IPS display with OGS technology, 1920×1200 resolution
- 16GB of storage
- 8-megapixel rear camera with wide aperture F2.2 lens
- 1.6-megapixel front camera, fixed focus
- WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0
- Optional LTE depending on region
- 4290mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 209.8 x 123.8 x 7.9 mm
If you recall, the Z3745 is also the same processor used in the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 ME176CX, which produced surprisingly high AnTuTu benchmarks during our hands-on. The Tab S8 is also a pretty thin tablet as well, coming in at just 7.9mm. Lenovo’s pegging the price of the Tab S8 at just $199 (around Php 8695) so it’s going to be relatively affordable provided it doesn’t cost too much when it’s imported here.
