Check out MyPhone’s new Rio 2 Lite
MyPhone is wasting no time launching its new Rio 2 derivatives, as a tipster sent us photos of their new Rio 2 Lite that’s set to go on sale at Wiltelcom Anniversary in Gaisano Mall in Davao. The Rio 2 Lite carries a special one-day sale price of only Php 3,999 but is set to retail at Php 4,599 when it officially goes on sale.

The Rio 2 Lite may offer a clue on the pricing of the Rio 2, as it has a considerably higher price tag than the original Rio Lite unveiled a year ago. We were hoping that MyPhone would have a more competitive sub 5K price for the Rio 2 considering that its competitors are now using octa-core processors at roughly the same price range of the Rio 2 Lite but alas, that isn’t the case. We’re still waiting for MyPhone to officially unveil the actual pricing of the Rio 2.
