Is Samsung’s latest phablet officially here?

Samsung’s latest flagship has made landfall in the Philippines in online stores, but has not been seen officially in Samsung PH’s official retail channels. That not be the case now though – we’ve been tipped by a reader that Abenson now lists the Galaxy Note 4 on their website, with an attached price of Php 36,990.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

  • Samsung Exynos Octa processor (1.9GHz quad-core processor + 1.3GHz quad-core processor)
  • Mali-T760 GPU
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2560 x 1440 resolution
  • 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD
  • 16-megapixel rear camera with AF and Smart OIS
  • 3.7-megapixel front camera with f1.9 lens
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, A-GPS
  • 3G, LTE
  • Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI
  • 3200mAh battery

The price of Abenson is realistically what you’d be paying for when you get the Galaxy Note 4 (Abenson is a long time Samsung reseller), but what caught our eye was the company’s description of the device. Abenson’s webpage lists the specs of the Galaxy Note 4 as having a 2.7GHz quad-core processor, which is basically the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 version of the Note 4. Samsung PH reps told us that the Note 4 will only be offered in the octa-core Exynos flavor  in the PH, so we’re not sure why Abenson has the Qualcomm one listed on their site.

Will you be getting a Note 4 at that price? Sound off below.
