Here’s another 5-inch smartphone from Starmobile!
Starmobile has announced a new 5-inch smartphone today in the form of the Turbo. The Turbo is a 5-inch, quad-core smartphone with an emphasis on added software features, including call and text filtering, smart camera features (voice activated shooting) and double tap to unlock (much like the Knock-on feature of the LG G2).

The Turbo also boasts KitKat right out of the box, which is fast becoming a standard feature for smartphones using MediaTek’s processors nowadays. Like the Up, the Turbo has a bunch of freebies thrown in, including a smart flip cover and a screen protector as well. Priced at around Php 6,990, it’s a bit on the high side (especially considering its rivals in the same price bracket use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors) though the freebies and the BSI enabled camera may endear it to people looking for a smartphone with a decent camera.
