Meet the new, KitKat equipped Play!
Starmobile has announced that they’ve re-released the affordable Play smartphone to retailers, which now has the latest version of Android, Android 4.4 KitKat on-board. Aside from that little upgrade, everything looks to be the same on the Play hardware-wise.

In addition to the updated Play, Starmobile has also said that they’ll be pushing out an OTA update to get older Play devices to KitKat. The OTA update is a bit large, coming in at 542MB, so it’ll be best if you connect to a stable (and fast!) WiFi connection when you decide to update your device.
