While the news has been dominated by Cherry Mobile’s announcements, let’s not forget that there are other local mobile players out in the market in the good old PH. Case in point: Torque and their newest tablet, the Droidz Mini Q.

Torque says on its Facebook page that the Droidz Mini Q has the capability to call and text, which should make it a nice tablet to have if you want all your comms in one device. Torque Assist, the official Torque representative over in their Facebook page said that the tablet has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, but we’re sure they’re mistaken as the MT8389 processor is quad-core only, though we’re going to take their word for the clockspeed of the Droidz Mini Q.
