Xiaomi has officially unveiled the newest member of their burgeoning notebook family today. Dubbed the Mi Notebook Pro, the new device is aimed at professionals looking for an affordable Windows notebook that’s fairly powerful and has discrete graphics.
The notebook uses the same minimalist design that’s on Xiaomi’s other notebook offerings. The Mi Notebook Pro has a 15.6-inch display, a fingerprint sensor integrated within the touchpad for faster and more secure Windows Hello log-ins, as well as a magnesium alloy frame for maximum durability.
Inside the Mi Notebook Pro beats Intel’s brand-spanking new 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, discrete NVIDIA MX150 GPU and up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of PCIe storage.
The Mi Notebook Pro will come in several varieties: an entry-level Core i5 variant with 8GB of RAM for RMB 5599 (Php 43.7K), Core i7 variant with 8GB of RAM for RMB 6399 (Php 50K) and the top of the line model that has 16GB of RAM that retails for RMB 6999 (Php 54K).
