The Best Batman: Arkham Origins Figure Yet?

If you guys have noticed most of the figures we’ve been collecting are mostly from Hot Toys or Sideshow Collectibles. There are actually several other brands out there but we haven’t seen top quality pieces from them yet so we’ve held back on buying. We finally went out and bought a figure though from NECA with the Batman: Arkham Origins figure! The likeness, articulation, and over-all design of this figure rivals Hot Toys and SSC which is amazing considering the price and the size!

Standing 18-inches tall, the figure towers over all the toys in the our collection! Unlike 1/6th scale figures which still have a tendency of looking small when you check them out from a far, this 1/4th scale is just massive even if you’re looking at it from the far end of a room.

To give you guys an idea of the size, here’s the figure beside your average sized apple.

As you can see in the full body shot, NECA nailed the armor to the dot! They were able to get the gray padding, small screws, and even Batman’s muscled build from the game. What’s even more awesome is the head sculpt. This is by far the best head sculpt that NECA has ever shipped! The likeness to the character in the video game is uncanny.

The figure boasts of 25 points of articulation making it quite posable. Together with the two accessories (Batarang and the Grappling Gun), you can pose Batman in a variety of ways. If you don’t want to use the Grappling Gun you can also just clip it to the utility belt of the figure. Here are a few photos that we took.

Priced locally anywhere from Php5,000-Php6,000, this figure is one of the best value-for-money Batman collectibles out in the market today. The articulation, sheer size, and the stunning detail/likeness makes it NECA’s best work and we highly recommend it to everyone!
