The All-New Escape looks boss!

Today is the first day of the Manila International Auto Show, and Ford kicked off the event in a very big way. The company unveiled the All-New Escape, further solidifying Ford’s solid lineup in the SUV segment.

The All-New Escape isn’t much of a change from the previous model, both aesthetically and internally. That’s ok – the previous iteration of the Escape was held in very high esteem in several markets. While Ford Philippines did not go into too much detail about the new Ford Escape (trying its hardest to keep the focus on the Ford Ecosport), the All-New Escape will be likely offered in S, SE and Titanium models when it’s officially put on sale later this year (Q4).

There will be three engine choices for the All-New Escape overseas, though it has not been made clear which one will eventually make its way here to the PH: the standard, 2.5-liter four cylinder Duratec engine capable of producing 168 HP, 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine capable of producing 178 HP, and a 2.0-liter Ecoboost engine capable of producing 240 HP. Depending on the configuration, the All-New Escape can be had with either FWD or AWD (optional).

The All-New Escape will be imported from the US, and may affect its final price when it’s officially offered later this year.
