All 2018 Realme Phones will Be Updated to Android Pie

Phones launched in 2019 is slated for an Android 10 update

Staying true to its commitment, Realme announced during the Realme XT launch that all Realme phones launched in 2018—starting from the Realme 1—will be updated to Android Pie. This means that Realme is one of the few brands that have all of their phones in their current portfolio to be upgraded to Android Pie—matching HMD Global’s commitment to updating all of its phones to the current Android version.

Realme’s effort in updating all its phones to Android Pie is more impressive, as it has to retool ColorOS to be stable and bug-free with Android Pie—it does not have HMD Global’s advantage of having almost all of its phones under the Android One Program.

Aside from its commitment to Android Pie, Realme reiterated its rollout schedule for Android 10, which will come with a customized version of ColorOS that is close to stock Android.
